In French Guiana, low deforestation, largely linked to gold mining, is generating a drastic decline in biodiversity, according to a study published in the journal Nature Communications on 7 June 2022,The loss of less than 11% of forest area results in a decline of more than a quarter of fish species and large mammals. An increase in deforestation can lead to the destruction of natural habitats that threaten much of biodiversity. Let’s fight against deforestation now, that’s why "Let's plant for tomorrow project was created. Let’s commit to planting trees, The tree is the best natural solution to fight climate change.
